The Making of our Christmas Card

Christmas in Orange County is quite unique. There's no snow, the sun is out, and you can still go surfing...well, with a wetsuit of course. For this year's Christmas card, we wanted to pay homage to the awesome "winter" weather we are fortunate to have! So, with a woodblock printing style in mind, we sketched out a Southern California Christmas scene encompassed in a snow globe. Our process included pencil and pen sketches and watercolor painting to make the design come to life.
