ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/b><\/div>\n\n\n\t- All team members must embody ORR\u2019s mission to provide protection for people, property, and the environment in all aspects of their work.<\/li>\n\t
- Proactively identify, pursue, and develop new national, multi-site fire protection service and monitoring opportunities across industries including Data Centers, Industrial, Telecommunications, Power Generation, Manufacturing, and other commercial verticals.<\/li>\n\t
- Demonstrate a strong hunter mentality, generating new leads through cold calling, networking, and targeted outreach focused on ORR\u2019s specialized inspection, testing, maintenance, and monitoring services.<\/li>\n\t
- Engage and communicate effectively with business decision-makers at all organizational levels to uncover needs, align solutions, and advance opportunities.<\/li>\n\t
- Collaborate with Operations and internal stakeholders to support proposal development, contract reviews, and solution alignment.<\/li>\n\t
- Negotiate and close sales opportunities of varying contract lengths, complexity, and revenue scope.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
RFP Management:<\/b><\/div>\n\n\n\t- Draft, format, and edit RFP responses to ensure accuracy, clarity, and professionalism.<\/li>\n\t
- Manage RFP timelines and submission deadlines to ensure timely and complete responses.<\/li>\n\t
- Maintain and continuously improve ORR\u2019s RFP content repository, including questionnaires, financial documentation, safety\/quality materials, and process narratives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
Market Research:<\/b><\/div>\n\n\n\t- Research prospective clients and target industries to identify new national, multi-site RFP and direct pursuit opportunities.<\/li>\n\t
- Analyze competitor positioning and RFP responses to strengthen ORR\u2019s value proposition and submission quality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
Documentation and Reporting:<\/b><\/div>\n\n\n\t- Maintain accurate CRM pipeline data, tracking leads, pursuits, and opportunity progress.<\/li>\n\t
- Prepare reports on RFP activity, outcomes, and feedback to support continuous improvement and strategy refinement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
Client Relationship Management:<\/b><\/div>\n\n\n\t- Build and nurture relationships with prospects throughout the sales and RFP lifecycle.<\/li>\n\t
- Participate in industry conferences and trade shows as required to support prospecting and brand presence.<\/li>\n\t
- Follow up post-submission to gather feedback and understand client decision-making timelines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
Administrative Support:<\/b><\/div>\n\n\n\t- Manage administrative tasks related to RFP submissions, including scheduling meetings, coordinating clarifications, and organizing documentation.<\/li>\n\t
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND\/OR EXPERIENCE<\/b><\/div>\n\n\n\t- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor\u2019s degree preferred.<\/li>\n\t
- Minimum 5+ years of sales experience required.<\/li>\n\t
- Minimum 2+ years of fire protection sales experience required; service sales experience strongly preferred.<\/li>\n\t
- Experience selling monitoring services strongly preferred.<\/li>\n\t
- Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
