  \nJOB SUMMARY <\/b>

  \nAs a Field Service Technician, you will work with some of the largest and most successful companies in the world and will receive top notch training on industry-leading fire alarm systems and fire suppression equipment.   \nOur Level 3 Technicians lead teams to service large scale fire alarm and suppression systems.
  \n
  \nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/b><\/div>\n\n
  \n\t
  All team members must embody the company mission to provide protection for people, property, and the environment in all aspects of their job.<\/li>\n\t
  Take a lead role in major service activity.<\/li>\n\t
  Perform service on the majority of OPS System brands and applications.<\/li>\n\t
  Contact customer to set up service.<\/li>\n\t
  Perform all inspection and testing tasks on fire alarm and special hazard fire suppression systems according to OPS work instructions.<\/li>\n\t
  Record inspection and test results in companies electronic inspection program.  <\/li>\n\t
  Respond to emergency service requests and take appropriate action.<\/li>\n\t
  Perform in depth trouble shooting, repair and replacement of system equipment.<\/li>\n\t
  Oversee OPS personnel in coordination of service activities. <\/li>\n\t
  Review inspection and test results with the customer. <\/li>\n\t
  Conduct training with customer on the functionality of the fire system.<\/li>\n\t
  Assist in installation and commissioning tasks.<\/li>\n\t
  Other duties as assigned. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
  MINIMUM EDUCATION AND\/OR EXPERIENCE<\/b><\/div>\n\n
  \n\t
  High school diploma or equivalent, required. <\/li>\n\t
  Five years\u2019 experience in servicing electrical\/mechanical systems in the fire alarm or special hazard fire suppression industry, required.<\/li>\n\t
  Experience reading blue prints, required.<\/li>\n\t
  Associate degree in electronics or related field, preferred. <\/li>\n\t
  NICET (Fire Alarm \/ Special Hazard) certification, preferred.<\/li>\n\t
  Experience with the following manufacturers: Kidde, Fenwal, Notifier, Fike, FCI, preferred. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
  
  \nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES<\/b><\/div>\n\n
  \n\t
  Experience with intelligent fire control panel programming software.<\/li>\n\t
  Knowledge of Microsoft Office and standard internet usage.<\/li>\n\t
  Strong time management skills. <\/li>\n\t
  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<\/li>\n\t
  Organized and detail-orientated. <\/li>\n\t
  Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.<\/li>\n\t
  Self-directed with the ability to work autonomously.<\/li>\n\t
  Ability to lead a team effectively.<\/li>\n\t
  Demonstrated customer service mindset.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
  WORK ENVIRONMENT<\/b><\/div>\n\n

  This is a remote position that would be deployed from the associate\u2019s home to local job sites for installs, service, or repairs.<\/li>\n\t
  Company vehicle, tools, technology, and equipment provided.<\/li>\n\t
  Occasional on-call days and\/or overtime required for unscheduled service needs.<\/li>\n\t
