A Hidden Vine on the Lake, a popular boutique wine and cheese shop on the shores of beautiful Lake Mission Viejo in Orange County, California, set out to launch their online wine club, Secret Cellar, in the fall of 2016. Secret Cellar brings high-end, small-batch boutique wines from some of the best wineries in California direct to your door through their online memberships.
Our team partnered with A Hidden Vine to create Secret Cellar’s visual brand, website, photography, and an introductory video to support the launch of their wine club.
We worked with A Hidden Vine to create a visual brand identity that included a logo, brand icon, and style guide that captured the sophistication of the Secret Cellar brand. With a blend of classic and modern typography and a neutral color pallet, the Secret Cellar brand is elegant and poised, set to attract those who have a taste for only the best wines.
Video + Photography
As a way to visually communicate the brand messaging, we collaborated with A Hidden Vine to produce an introductory video for the website. 454 Creative provided storyboarding, scriptwriting, an onsite production crew, voice over artist, music selection, and editing to create the following video for their website as well as provided onsite photography to capture original photos for marketing purposes.
We designed and built a custom e-commerce website within Shopify, a popular e-commerce platform. We implemented a fully custom design and integrated recurring subscription functionality and management. Through the customization, A Hidden Vine can easily manage their orders and recurring subscriptions.
Once all the assets were in place we worked with A Hidden Vine to launch email campaigns, social media posts, online advertisements, and marketing strategy to boost the impact of the website.

Through the continued efforts of the team at A Hidden Vine, more memberships are being purchased and Secret Cellar is off to an excellent start in the market!
